To unlock the Manta ray you need to have the Submarine star done but idk about anything else

but the chest star is active at start...i do think cheese etc do first chest - jet stream - 100s/reds - caps - submarine then b2 then manta

EDIT: for 120: above for 70: dunno which stars are cut out in routing

for 120 u do 100+reds and chests before submarine then do fs before the rest of the stars 'cause the jet stream star and cage star lags really badly on n64 with the submarine there for 70 u do chests before submarine, then manta.

for emu/vc u wanna do every star except manta before submarine 'cause u cant do it yet as it was noted earlier in the thread.
