Message speed (First option): set to max; bar should be filled Select 「戦闘設」(Battle Options) Set all options to "OFF" except for 「予測ダメージ表示」(Damage calculation) Exit the menu, settings should save
SPEEDRUN GUIDE
RTA timing begins once new game begins
Battle 1 When leveling up, hold B when gaining EXP, but release when allocating stats; game lags if holding B
Battle 2 Do not move Jin after using his MAX; use Baal to deal with remaining enemies
Battle 3 Use Miriam to defeat the moving purple wolf; Jin's MAX cannot kill it Use Union to deal damage with Baal and Jin
Battle 4 (Gaon 1) Use Miriam only when she has about 60 FC for added damage
Battle 5 Upgrade weapons for all characters
Battle 6 (Gaon 2)
Defeat Skeletons, or else they will appear in the second part of the fight Save MAX for Barbazan and his minions, they're weak to fire Do not attack Barbazan until his MAX buff wears off; defense boosted by 50% Once Barbazan has been defeated, use Miriam to Union with Teeda to get damage on Gaon
Battle 7 Upgrade weapons, always go "B" path Upgrade Alfin Select 3rd option when talking Equip 「物理攻撃強化プログラム」, this increases party ATK
Let the enemies come to the party
When the enemies are in range, have Julius use his MAX to buff the party Split up Jin and Teeda so each one can MAX another group of enemies Have Miriam follow Teeda to attack any enemies left alive Baal should follow Jin Let Miriam wait while everyone else attacks the remaining targets
Battle 8 (Gaon 3) Julius' MAX overpowers the Barbazan MAX; use Jin's MAX against Barbazan Have Teeda close to Jin, as she can follow-up with a MAX or an attack Follow Rush, do not split up the team Miriam is strong against the turrets with Julius' MAX up
Battle 9 Upgrade Alfin Go past the two robots selling items and weapon upgrades Upgrade the following:
Should have 12 points to spend Talk to Alfin, take second option Select the first series of question marks and select yes Alfin should have red clothes on Remember to add on the attack upgrade purchased before battle 7
Replace Miriam with Rush for all upcoming battles Save Julius' MAX until the boss
Battle 10 (Reifa 1) Purchase 11 「特効薬」in consumable items menu (heals 1200 HP) Use Jin's MAX on the first wave of enemies, use Teeda's and Rush's MAX on the mages accompanying Reifa Reifa's MAX reduces FC recharge to 0 for two turns, avoid this
Battle 11
Teeda, Rush, Julius, and Grezelia are the only usable characters in this battle Use Teeda's and Rush's MAX on the first wave of enemies Use 60 FC single-target magic as needed
Battle 12 (Gaon 4)
Upgrade Alfin with 「物理攻撃強化プログラム+」 Upgrade Equipment Use Julius' MAX before using any attack MAX Try to clump up as many enemies together for each MAX attack Save Baal's force to multi-target Gaon and Valvazan Repeat same strategy for part 2 of the fight
Battle 13 (Shizuma 1)
From now on, replace Miriam with Barbazan Upgrade armor for Teeda and Jin Have Barbazan tank the first wave of attacks, use his MAX if necessary Then use Julius' MAX before Teeda has her turn, target all party members Use Teeda's MAX to get rid of the first wave of enemies, and have Baal clean up any remaining enemies Let Jin move in and bait in Shizuma be careful not to move in any of the soldier's attack range, use Jin's MAX on his next turn
Battle 14 (Zekoo 1)
Use Teeda's MAX on the first wave Save Jin's MAX for Zekoo Be careful with Baal; the Zekoo and the birds are wind elemental
Battle 15 (Gaon 5 & Reifa 2)
Upgrade equipment, prioritize Jin, Baal, and Teeda Prioritize Reifa over Gaon
Battle 16 (Rongan)
Have Barbazan go south and deal with the stationary enemies
Battle 17 (Zekoo 2)
Upgrade Julius' weapons Be careful when advancing units, the birds can double team and kill off any unit easily
Battle 18 (Shizuma 2) Upgrade armor and accessories Teeda's MAX for the first wave, be close enough to Shizuma that he prioritizes Jin and Teeda's side over Julius' side If done correctly, Shizuma should be killed before his turn Have Julius buff up Barbazan, use multi-target attacks to deal with enemies
Battle 19 (Reifa 3, Zekoo 3, Rongan 2)
Upgrade weapons (Jin, Teeda) Move team to the left as soon as the battle starts Julius MAX before using Teeda or Jin MAX
Battle 20 (Shuho)
Upgrade weapons (Barbazan, Baal) Have at least 15 Force Amps「フォースアンプル」 Do not target the enemies other than Shuho unless buffed by Julius Jin MAX and Teeda MAX are not useful against Shuho; it's best to use multi-target attacks
Battle 21 (Lavinia)
Part 1 Do not target tentacles Union attack for Jin and Teeda, Connect for Baal and Valvazan
Part 2 Do not use MAX skills except for Julius' Use Force Amps on Baal, as he deals the highest damage Union and Connect attacks as needed
Final RTA split occurs once Livinia is defeated
