Fair enough for me, RE4 was the only website i was moderating though. Thank you for your consideration. I've been a mod here for a long time, i don't mind retiring from it. It was just convenient for me to automically verify run as i tend to submit a lot.

I might actually run this game now if the moderators are gone that kept rejecting runs that were faster using current tech. This game is a mess man, just wanna run and go fast

I have been here speed running RE4 for 10 years i don't think i have ever seen RE4 in the state it's in. I Ran with the OG's like Derek Taylor, Sarou, Bloodyneko and sorts. Me i'm a neutral guy and i have been staying out of it this whole time. But i think it is time i broke my silence and spoke what was on my mind. Back then it wasn't about LB's or bragging about a time you got it was about doing what you loved and the excitement of getting a awesome time and showing it for people to love back for the time you put into a run. But all i see now a days is people bragging I also people standing up for they believe in which is fine by me. I Also see people trying to dominate a LB by underhanded tactics and complaining instead of shutting up and running and being the best that you can be. i'm not saying either side are in the right again i'm just a vet speed runner that knows when to shut up and run. I try not to get myself involved in this. But it's sad to see how far low This is all gotten.

@yoshii A rational person managed to use logic and reasoning to convince other rational people that the leaderboards are flawed, and one of those rational people he convinced happened to be the owner and operator of the site, who then turned control of the board over to a moderator who has so far proven to be unbiased and reasonable, unlike the previous ones. The previous moderators showed plenty of 'higher favor' when the 'certain runner' was banned from the discord because he was harassed while the person who actually antagonized him(who was a moderator of the leaderboard) received no punishment whatsoever. Additionally, 'majority opposition' is irrelevant when the 'majority' is toxic, immature, and wrong.
I'd also like to point out that a single person complaining was not the 'undoing' of this community, it was the inappropriate and immature reaction of the cancerous growth that resided within that community that caused it to split at the seams and fall apart. A leaky roof is not the fault of the rain.
Reminder this could have all been avoided if the mods were mature and had this discussion with me without resorting to bans and harassment.
This could have been handled without all of the instigating and harassment by both parties. All of this is immature.
What's so hard about modifying outdated rulesets and category criteria?
