Are there plans to make this version viable for the leaderboards?

Yeah but it's not down to us, I requested for it to be changed so the FPS isn't fixed at a certain FPS but that wasn't changed yet.

Currently Speed run Edition is a few frames faster from some tests I did running in a straight line

If it's helpful at all I did 2 runs of Leon A with Speedrun edition, one without the IGT it provides and one with it on.
