Crystal Alakazam Starter Route

Pokemon Crystal Manipless Beginner Route

I take no credit for this guide, all of the strats were from wsopboy91 's guide that you can see here if you prefer pastebin https://pastebin.com/nTaMhcTN i just added a few things to help new runners navigate better and to make a guide for people who dont like pastebin.
 
Girl, 5:51PM, Toto(reset female), take 12 12 10 10 10 or better(reset if bad attack and bad special at lvl 6), take off berry when you get a runnable Toto.  kill only hoppip and poliwags, get potion before mr pokemon(have this pastebin open to see what to do with your stats for mid game https://pastebin.com/MVXVses1 )

RIval 1 -Chikorita- leer, scratch
Catch Sentret/poliwag if you see one
Mikey- scratch(swap rage and use rage if lvl 7)
-Catch Poliwag if you see one, consider yoloball Bellsprout
-Get 3rd potion if you need to heal for spearow and/or have bad stats
-Get bitter berry
FALKNER GYM
-if you had 11 defense at level 5 and didn’t get experience, heal to 32+ before Spearow
-Spearow- swap rage and use rage
-Trainer 2- rage
-Falkner- rage
-Center and get egg, then get przberry
-Get the repel pokeball in the grass and take the left path to Union Cave
-Menu equip bitter berry and use repel when you enter Union Cave
UNION CAVE
(if you hit Russel skip Bill) Bill- Rage
-Consider saving for Anthony
-Talk to kurt, mart sell mudslap, buy 1 potion, 5 super potion, 6 repel, 2 antidote and then pick up full heal
SLOWPOKE WELL
-Rocket shorts guy- rage
-Trainer 2- water gun(rage zubat or scratch ekans depending on dv's)
-Trainer 3- water gun rat, water gun or scratch zubat depending on dv's
-Trainer 4- water gun 
AZALEA GYM
-Fight the twin on the right and take the right path after the fight 
-Ledyba- scratch, Spinarak- water gun or scratch depending on dv's
-Caterpie- water gun, weedle- water gun
-Bugsy- rage
-Menu tile before rival 2- equip przberry, super potion, repel, teach fury cutter in slot 2(skip repel if still need cut slave)
-Ghastly- watergun, bayleef- fury cutter, zubat- water gun(rage)
AZALEA FOREST
-Follow the bird until the NPC gives you Cut
-Menu- super potion, repel, teach cut
-Consider getting full heal/super potion
-Get headbutt,menu teach headbutt in slot 1, repel then go get bike
GOLDENROD CITY
-Register and use bike then get kenya and go through spinner hell
-Talk to flower lady then go to Whitneys gym
-Headbutt snubbull (water gun if charmed)
-Whitney: fury cutter(bite over slot 2)
-Get squirtbottle, if early underground bite slowpokes, water gun magnemites and headbutt voltorb
-Goldenrod Mart 1, top floor sell attract then buy ice punch, 2 floors down buy 1 x speed, 1 x special(2 if 24 for rival 3), 1/2 x attack, 6 ropes, 2 full heals, 1 pokedoll
-On way back through spinner hell, deposit croc and egg in the house before Sudowoodo then withdraw croc
-Before sudowoodo, use bike, then menu swap croc to 1 then use repel
ECRUTEAK CITY
-Make your way to the kimono girl gym
-Flareon- HB x2
-Espeon- HB x2
-Umbreon- HB x3
-Vaporeon- HBx2
-(Heal if below 45 hp)- HB + scratch
-Exit house and menu, super potion, repel, ice punch in slot 3, surf in slot 4 then bike to burnt tower
-Rival 3- (x spec on Haunter if no spinners OR below 11 spec) Haunter- surf, magnemite- surf, bayleef- ice punch x2, zubat- ice punch
-Activate Legendary doggo cutscene then rope out then bike to mortys gym
ECKRUTEAK GYM
-Ghastly x5- ice punch x5
-Haunter- Bite+ ice punch
-Trainer 3- surf x3(Surf+bite haunter ONLY if level 27 otherwise do Bite+Ice Punch )
-Morty- x speed, x special, ice punch, bite, bite + surf, surf ( Surf Gastly and set up on Haunter if no przberry and you don’t want to risk getting paralyzed)
OLIVINE CITY
-Bike and repel then make way to Olivine city taking top path
- fight First Lady by the ledges in Olivine and surf pikachu
-Mart- 4 hyper potion, 14 super repel. Make your way to the lighthouse.
-HB + surf noctowl
-HB x2 Growlithes
-HB + Bite Marill
-Get candy if no spinner then do menu below
-If spinner, heal, super repel, swap to top then rope then get strength and teach it on kaylee pause over slot 1
CIANWOOD GYM
-Strength x2 hitmon's
-Surf machop, surf x2 machoke
-If healing before pushing boulders heal and use strength from the Pokémon menu
Strength x4 mankey/primeape
-Chuck- x attack (x attack), strength x3
-Get fly, get secret potion
-Teach fly, fly 3 down, bike to mt mortar and use a repel, pokedoll on gyarados
-Fly down 2 then go to hideout
ROCKET HIDEOUT
-Rocket 1- surf x2
-Rocket 2- strength x3
-Scientist- surf x3
-Lance heal
-Rocket 1- strength x2
-Rocket 2- strength x2(get password)
-Rocket 3- strength(get password)
-Rocket exec- surf x3
-Rocket exec 2- surf, ice punch, surf
-Surf all electrodes then rope out then save for douglas and soft reset if he hits you

-Pryce- strength + bite, strength x2, surf
-Fly 4 down, get candy, rope out, bike to gym, surf x3
-Fly 4 up, center, then mart
Get return, 5/6 special, 11 attack, 3 speed(2 if outspeed blue), 1 guard spec, 2 x acc
-If below 12 spec delay mart until after the first part of radio tower and do the same Mart above while buying 3 calciums

-Get pink bow, do the quiz AABAB, then fly 2 down then go to ice path and repel 4 tiles in
-When repel wears off use repel then use Strength from the pokemon menu
-After repel wears off, menu super repel, equip pink bow, teach whirlpool and waterfall (if you did late Poliwag you dont need to do this menu)
-After Claire make your way to Dragon's Den and answer the questions.11212, super repel, then rope, fly to new bark
-Make your way to E4 (I recommend watching videos of movement here it’s hard to explain in a guide) 
-Get the free heal from the lady in the house before the Joyce spinner.
-Rapidash- surf
-Rival 5- x spec, return, surf, ice punch, surf, ice punch, strength
-When entering Pokemon League buy 11 Full Restores and proceed to fight Will.
-Will- x spec, surf, ice punch, return, return x3, surf
-Koga- x spec, (x acc), surf, surf, surf, return x2(surf if acid armor), ice punch
-Bruno- x attack x2, return, return, return, return, surf (ice punch if surfed muk)

-Talk to the fat man then exit out of power plant and fly up 1
-Enter gym to activate the Rocket dialogue then exit right to proceed to Nugget Bridge

-Bike right to go to Lavender tower and talk to the executive there and fly up 2 and go to Surge’s gym
-Gentleman- ice punch x2
-Surge- strength, surf, return, strength, strength
-Super repel and radio before Snorlax
-Sandslash return(unless bad attack then use surf)
-Brock- surf x5
-Get max ether, repel on 2nd green tree tile
-Menu before water, super repel, max ether on return, surf from menu(slot 2)
