The BNG or ordinary CS rocket is a great way to skip multiple parts of a level and get swiftly to the end of the level, it is usually recommended in open spaces where you have a lower chance of death and you get to cover larger distances, it is also usually recommended that you jump and go into ragdoll mode (X) as soon as you shoot the BNG to get you further into the level.
