hey I want to create a category for the legend of zelda ocarina of time called tomboy secret where you have to find the sheika stone that tells you that zelda is a tomboy or something like that and I wanted to know if I could create a subcategory or something like that

Typically for a new extension category to be added there needs to be interest from at least a few different runners, after which the category can go through a submission process for evaluation by mods and receive a minimum number of required runs to make the category permanent. (Usually between 1 and 10.) We have this system in place so the boards don't become cluttered with categories that see little to no competition. If you'd like to drum up interest for your category from other players, I suggest joining the OoT Speedrunning Discord and making a post in one of the extensions channels.
