(The route may get changed due to discoveries) In 1-1 you need to collect the first Mushroom in the highest question block near the start of the level because you cant collect the checkpoint and it doesn't count as a power-up despite giving you the ability. After getting the checkpoint (you can get the checkpoint but it doesn't count as a mushroom) you can get a propeller in the question block.

In 1-2 right before the checkpoint you need to ground pound into the cluster of brick-blocks, and hit the brick-block closest to the checkpoint (If your confused about this, see the WR video)

For the end strategy, Beat 5-1 -> die in 5-1 -> defeat the piranha plant -> Get the fire flower, ice flower, penguin suit, and get the mini in the toad house -> equip all of those
