Hey! I really like this game, however I have no skill with the story mode. So i would like to suggest Game%. It would be a regular single player game with your choice of players, and your choice of opponents, on the hardest diffuculty with 9 innings and no mercy rule.
There's so much discrepancy with that kind of category. You could pick a completely incompetent team to play against and vice versa for yourself. This category would also ultimately come down to getting a one inning mercy rule of the team, eliminating the need to play all 9 innings in the first place. We'd need to come up with a very strict set of rules, and I think that's kind of the opposite of what most people would want. Not making it a category for now, sorry!
all star captains would be the same as all captains but forcing the lineup to have all the captains - all star characters would take a while but would be very fun in my opinion since you have to use so many different lineups against bowser
