I can't get my timer to show up on top of Minecraft (because I can't display capture), so would my runs still be verifiable if you couldn't see the timer?

You can do window capture on a timer and add it as a source in obs, then you can put it on top.

yup I have learned how to do this with autosplitter so it's on my vids/vods!

you dont NEED to have a timer but its very helpful for verification
