the key word in speedrun is 'speed' though, so I don't think it would be a very popular category. Besides, it would be very hardcore, you wouldn't be able to sleep or go to the bathroom, it would be hard to eat, and there would need to be a facecam to ensure that macros aren't being used and stuff.
actually, long runs are allowed to have cuts and many recording strung together (+ you can just open the esc menu and stay there overnight)
