I'm pretty sure something like that wouldn't be allowed. If you wanna see your fps in vanilla you can use the F3 screen tho

What about an external software then? It doesn't affect the game in any way

I ran into this exact problem before and thought something was broken on my end. Turned out the trick was just tweaking a couple settings and reinstalling the mod loader. Also, if you’re messing with pack combinations, [fapcrafts.com](https://fapcrafts.com/) has some working setups listed that saved me a bunch of testing time. Worth a look if you're trying to figure out what versions play nice together.
