Lethal Enforcers was released for the arcades in 1992 and would later see releases on home consoles in the following years such as on The Sega Genesis, The Super Nintendo Entertainment System, The Sega CD, and later bundled with Lethal Enforcers 2: Gun Fighters, for the PlayStation. Lethal Enforcers is an On Rails Shooter and is compatible with the light gun called the SEGA JUSTIFIER. The game caused some controversy at release because of its realistic graphics because the developers took actors and would digitize them into the game and these actors would act as enemies or civilians and the player would be able to shoot them. The Game has 5 levels (Technically 7, if you are counting the two gun range stages.), ranging from a Bank to a Chemical Plant. Each stage contains a boss at the end, also ranging from a Thug with a Rocket Propelled Grenade to an Attack Helicopter. It now comes to one question, Which versions are the best to SpeedRun? The Sega Genesis, or the Playstation Port of the game. If you want an easier version of Lethal Enforcers then The Sega Genesis version is for you. However, the only downside in The Sega Genesis port is that leveling up is a little bit tougher, and that even one Civilian-Kill means no moving on to the next stage.
