All Quests Route
Обновлено HoonGoons
от Couple of things you need to know before getting into All Quests:
- This run is done on pre-1.06 versions (1.00 is completely useless, 1.01 doesn't matter unless you're on the Japanese version, 1.02-1.05 for every other version works just fine) for boost boots flying. You are able to get 1.05 on the US PS4 version only if wanting to run on the latest boost boots flying version, but some disc copies (mainly PAL ones) have a base disc version of 1.02.
- This run is done on PS3. If running 1P, 2P, or 3P, this run is currently impossible to do with the current ruleset (requiring 1 controller per player) on PS4/5. The co-op subcategory would be used for PS4/5 in the 4P subcategory specifically in order to get access to Race to the Stars or to do Here, There and Everywhere more optimally.
- The category rules state if the "A Guy Named Quest" pin does not show up, you can prove all quests are done by showing all quests have been completed in the organizatron. My route does not follow this and I do Bunkum Lagoon in 2 parts for the pin to show up due to it bugging and not giving you the pin if you complete the "Defeat Newton!" quest before any other main quest like the character ones. If you wish to do this, do all the stuff of Bunkum Lagoon 2 in this guide here.
- Please do not buy another console just to run a single category, you should just run how you want to. This guide is reflecting the current state of the leaderboards as of June 5th, 2025.
Now that's all out of the way, the route goes as follows:
- The run follows extremely close to how Any% No Create is. Doing Prologue as normal, doing Manglewood and Ziggurat skip and the respective titans, and heading to Bunkum Lagoon to get the boost boots.
- This route document follows the All Quests record of 1:13:05. If there's any visual needed, please refer to the video.
Bunkum Lagoon 1
- Go into Masque Maker's Tower. Once you get the boost boots, restart the level to get back to the entrance, and proceed to boost boots fly to the ending area to complete the requirement for the quest.
- Head out of the area and proceed to boost boots fly up to where Battle of the Airwaves is located.
- The requirement for Battle of the Airwaves is 5000 points. Once you gain the 5000 points, the quest completes, and you can exit to the pod to go back to the hub level.
- Once you're back in the hub, head over to the right and go into Belly of the Beast.
- Boost boots fly to the end.
- Once that level is completed, all 2 marbles will have been collected so now you can head up to Cloud Caravan. Remember to buffer the cutscene so you can skip immediately! During the beginning of the load screen, press start and then press and hold start again the second time during the entire load. Once the load screen finishes, you will be in the pause menu and you will be able to skip the cutscene immediately instead of waiting until you're able to pause.
- Do the out of bounds strat at the beginning of the level since you're able to do this on this version, and head over to the end of the level.
- Once you spawn back, the cutscene with the Newton machine starts playing, and you're now playing as Swoop in the hub. Fly over the top on the right side, get to a ledge and layer switch back and glide down to where Joust in Time is.
- When you get into Joust in Time, you can boost boots fly above where the popit powerup is and head to the right where the track is. Be sure to not activate the cutscene!
- Once you're in the area with the track, you can head down the ramp and gain speed from slope jumping (hopefully converting into bhops when you get off the track). Compared to the Wheel Deal, you are not required to be in your vehicle for this quest to work, so once you get to 2000, the quest completes.
- In this route, you would quit out at that point and move over to Ziggurat for the other stuff you need to do, but if you wish to do all of Bunkum Lagoon in one go, follow what was done in Bunkum Lagoon 2.
Ziggurat 2
- Load into the hub, go up to where Go Loco is and boost boots fly above the wall on the right to get to Here, There and Everywhere.
- Once you get in, you're able to get out of bounds by using the flying machine, layer switching, and using the boost boots to fall down beneath the level. Layer switch 2 times and boost boots fly upwards to get the moon sticker. This is the only required sticker for the entire level.
- Once you get the moon sticker, pop your character, and go into the flying machine which has now activated a velociporter out of bounds. Layer switch 6 times and keep going to the right.
- Once you are at a specific point, you want to boost boots fly upwards and you'll need to place down the moon sticker rather quickly on the sticker sensor. Once you do, pause the game and swap your controller number to 2 and wait for the host to despawn. Once the host despawns, switch controller number back to 1 and complete the quest.
- Instead of exiting out via return the pod, you must exit via the scoreboard due to it putting you closer to the next level needed. The timing is fairly strict to skip and end the level faster, but once it's done press continue.
- Once you're back in the hub, use boost boots on the right (may need to animation cancel so you get more momentum) and land on a green wall. Head over to the left and fall down to start Bear With Us.
- Once you're in the level, boost boots fly to get out of bounds above the level. Be sure not to void the requirement for the quest by touching bubbles if you land back in bounds.
- Drop back in bounds where the scoreboard is at and hit the trigger on the left side where the door is to complete the quest. End level by scoreboard.
- Once you're back in the hub, boost boots fly up on top of the green wall again to prepare to get over to the debug area for the marbles. If you have the hook hat, you can do the hook hat version where you go on the rails and get on top of the invis wall to fall down. If you fail that or don't have the hook hat, you can slide down and boost boots fly to get to the area instead.
- Do the setup. Swap to Toggle from the character switcher, press L1 to become little Toggle, and pop yourself to get back to the hub. Go down to start No Drain, No Gain.
- Complete No Drain, No Gain as normal considering it is fast casual. When the quest completes, quit out of the level and return to the hub.
- Once you're back in the hub, slide down on the left and activate the cutscene of the statue coming up. Go into Tuto Tango and buffer the cutscene skip.
- Complete Tuto Tango. Follow the IL route as this is not fast casual.
- When you're back in the hub, wait out the cutscene of Papal Mache talking to you so the quest fully completes. Quit level and go to Manglewood.
Manglewood 2
- Once you load into the hub, go to the left to start Back in the Saddle. Since you are not OddSock, you need to boost boots fly up to the location to start the quest.
- Complete level as normal. Quit out after the quest completes and head back into the hub.
- Once you are back in the hub, head back again to the left to go to High Stakes Heist. Be sure not to trigger the Zom Zom cutscene by being there too long.
- Once you're in that area, you can boost boots fly up to hit the debug button to complete the requirement for the quest.
- Head over to the right (either from the tar strat or going normally) and head into Deep Space Drive-In.
- Once you're in the level, get the sponge into the hole to open the door, then you're able to boost boots fly up above to skip to the ending section. Complete level as normal.
- Once you're back in the hub, drop down and go to the right to head over to start the Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? quest.
- Complete level as normal. Exit level via scoreboard. Be sure not to void the requirements for the quest by losing too many of your sack people.
- After coming back, head over to the Race to the Stars area. This is the second gatekeeper part for PS4/5 players outside of Here, There and Everywhere. You will need to controller number switch and keep everyone active until the level link spawns. Once the cutscene happens, be sure you swapped back to the host (to be Sackboy in the level) and then proceed to head into the level.
- Once you're in the level, you need to take a specific boost boots flying route. There's a way easier one if you just go to the left but it kills the game audio so it's not entirely recommended. Quit out of the level once the quest completes and head back into the hub.
- This next part depends if you hit the Marlon Random introduction cutscene when performing Manglewood skip. If the cutscene has already played, you don't have to worry about accidentally hitting it so you can progress to the right as normal. If the cutscene hasn't played or you just wanna do this anyway, you can boost boots fly up above to head over to Shake, Rattle & Roll.
- Once you're in the level, boost boots fly to the end. This level is a little tricky with the low gravity part at the marble section.
- After coming back, head over to Two's Company and accept the quest. You have to take an alternate method to get into this area with 1 player due to not having the blink ball. Boost boots fly up above the area to the left and spot two floating metal blocks. These are in a layer behind, so you can stand on them and then boost boots fly back over to where the level link is at.
- This level depends on getting all 5 stickers unlike Here, There and Everywhere in this route where you only need one. Guest players are not able to keep the stickers if they ever disconnect and would also be extremely slow.
- For the Nana Pud sticker, you spawn in player 1's area. You need to head over to the right and boost boots fly up above to collision that you can keep layer switching on and fall behind to get to the 2nd player's area. Get the sticker and then head back to the collision you layer switched on to get to the next area.
- For the Captain Pud sticker, you can animation cancel your boost boots to keep the momentum during the layer switch to get the sticker faster, rather than climbing up to get it. Keep going to the right, even after sliding down
- For the Newton sticker, pull out the pumpinator, hold L1 to pull the platform down and then when you bounce off the bounce pads, hold R1 to keep pushing the thing down so you can get the sticker. Head back to the left to go to the next section.
- For the Pumpinator sticker, boost boots fly to get it. Be careful of the collision because you might layer switch. Boost boots fly to avoid the sponge and keep going to the right.
- For the Popit Academy sticker, you need to go on the layer switch pads to head into the rising tar area. Do not activate the checkpoint. Boost boots fly upwards to get the sticker, and then head back out while also still avoiding the checkpoint. Once you're out of there, you can boost boots fly to skip the entire section. Layer switch to the front. Complete the sticker section and the quest will be finished. End level via scoreboard.
- Head over to the Wheel Deal once you get back in the hub. Unlike Joust in Time, you have to play this level completely normally.
- There most definitely is a better route for this, but this is what I did in my run. The route is 1) get the flipper, water bottle chassis, and toy car wheel. 2) reset car, get out water bottle chassis, put flipper on circle/O, put balloon on cross/X, then put the two toy car wheels. 3) win race as this.
- The car does not entirely depend on the chassis but moreso the wheels used, and the toy car wheels happen to be the best for this. The flipper is used for getting speed by rotating faster. The balloon is used incase I get stuck but it is also for more momentum after the rotating. The bottle chassis was used cause it had the two extra actions needed for the balloon and flipper, but it is also just kinda big and would help with the rotating. If there's a better one found that saves time then this will be updated.
- Once you win the race, the quest completes. Quit out and return to hub.
- Once you spawn back into the hub, the OddSock statue cutscene plays. You should be able to have enough time to head into the level link right after incase anything else happens (Marlon Random intro cutscene). Remember to buffer the cutscene skip!
- Complete Crumbling Crypts as normal. If you did Bunkum Lagoon all in one go, your run would end here when the quest complete thing shows up on screen. Head back into the hub to watch the ending cutscene and to make sure the quest has completed and verify everything. If you did not do Bunkum Lagoon in one go, read the next section.
Bunkum Lagoon 2
- Head back into Bunkum Lagoon and boost boots fly up to the Newton machine. Enter the level link and buffer the cutscene skip.
- This now basically just follows the ending of Any% No Create just like how the beginning did. Everything would be similar to that.
- Once you go through the layer launcher, the "Defeat Newton!" quest completes, and time ends. If this is the last quest, you should get the "A Guy Named Quest" pin.

New Individual Levels timing method!
As of today. Runs that meet the video requirement threshold have to include a bit of the loading screen before entering the level. This is to accommodate for the new rule "Timing starts on the frame that the loading screen stops...." This decision was made so that runs could be more precisely timed!
