So, i want to get into speedrunning of hk and i want to buy the game from gog, but i've searched in google, and it says that gog doesnt give steam keys, so i was thinking how could i downpatch to start speedrunning. All replies are aprecciated!

haha very funny so you used to be able to extremely easily by going to Configure and then literally picking 1221 from a drop down menu, but in GOG's infinite wisdom they decided all we needed now was 1432, 1424, and 3 different 1.5 installs, which is very cool.

Like tk said, sadly it is not available through GOG anymore :c now the patches are clogged with two broken version of 1.5, an acceptable version of 1.5, and two version of 1.4. If you wanna downpatch to 1221 you'll either need to own the game on Steam, or message GOG support and maybe they'll give you access to 1221
