Tutorial - Fixing On-Stream Noise When Pausing
Обновлено 2 years ago от Patrick_

I made a distilled version based on a Discord conversation [that I was not involved in, thanks go to mostly Anti, RoK, EBen] :

Symptoms: Pausing the GTA3, an annoying "pop sound" "pollutes" the local recording and stream (you do not hear it as the streamer). E: Holy shit, this is cancer ! Here it is:

Fix: "Official" guide Short version: Download both (!) and: [6:53 PM] Anti: and im not sure if the order matters but just in case, install them in this order. "AppleApplicationSupport.msi" -> "AppleApplicationSupport64.msi" https://www.mediafire.com/file/mestnoin34lkwoa/apple-aac-stuff.zip/file

[6:54 PM] Anti: then verify it worked by doing this: After both are installed you can start OBS again Click on Help (at the top) -> Log Files -> View current log In the new window scroll through a bit or use the search function (it should open in Notepad by default) to find a line that says "[CoreAudio encoder]: Adding CoreAudio AAC encoder"

Note: You can grab the files from an official source by downloading directly from Apple and extracting AppleApplicationSupport64.msi and AppleApplicationSupport.msi yourself (open the file in 7 zip): https://secure-appldnld.apple.com/itunes12/001-11171-20200729-C90BA68A-D1E1-11EA-9F72-FBF01D14DEAA/iTunes64Setup.exe
