i am a mod for the what the golf speedrun community and we decided upon merging the 'mouse' and the 'controller/touchscreen' due to new strats being found, etc. i am not sure of how to merge the two subcategories into the 'nmg' subcategory. if anyone could teach me how, that'd be great!

Simply deleting the variable for mouse/ controller (I believe it is "hyperclick" in your leaderboard) will merge the subcategories.
