Whew, this is quite the jump from the previous 6:37 run isn't it? Unfortunately, it seems that my unapproved submissions were lost during the leaderboards restructuring. Anyway, while I have many more runs up on my channel, there are two notable ones I want to briefly mention.

First, the 6:28 run. This was the last run I did using the same routing as in the previous submission, but with better execution. The video is here:

The second notable run, was ~5:58, the first under 6m run, where I implemented two new skips, and a new route in the secret level! There's a partial elevator skip at the end of the first level and a full elevator skip in the "For My Fans" level. The video is here:

Which finally brings us to this current run! 5:42!

Not long after the under 6m run, I managed to find my dream skip! The fire door skip in "Heaven on Fire". In that level, I had previously used the vent skip where I jump through the vent instead of waiting for the door to open. However, this time, I found a way to get into the vent without first putting out the fire! Although very hard to execute, this was a huge time save, up to ~15 seconds!

The execution in this run after about the halfway point has some issues. Things take a turn for the worse at the very end of "A Curious Caller" where I get stuck in the Batman chute. Afterwards I have some other mistakes along the way, but in the end, I think it's a pretty sweet run!

Judging from my splits, at the very least, with the current route I'm using, an under 5:40 run is very possible, maybe getting close to 5:35.

In closing, since my last submission was lost, I want to once again give a shoutout to LiquidOtacon, eSportDjango and MrFeral! You rock! Thanks for getting me into this speedrunning thing, it's been a fun ride so far, and the ride is far from over!
