Recently a vote on the MDSR Discord has lead to the timing rules for Individual Levels and Master Levels being changed. In the upcoming week or so, we will be cleaning up the IL and ML leaderboards to match with the new timing rules, Old runs that do not comply with these rules or where the video submissions do not allow for the runs to be retimed will be removed.

Those rules being that the run will start when the runner gains control of the slayer and end when the runner exits to the menu. Please consult the updated rules in the respective categories if you wish to submit again

DESRU is an open source helper tool for doom eternal speedrunner developed by bowsr ( https://www.speedrun.com/user/bowsr ) who also helped develop the autosplitter. It contains tools such as the approved speedrun macro, framerate capping, internet blockage and cheat detection.

Due to a recent vote done on our discord server, it has been decided that this tool will be required for all runs performed on windows in the near future. However, there will be a grace period of 1 week where runs done on windows will still be accepted without DESRU in case major issues are discovered, in order to give bowsr enough time to address them. Please do not wait. Please start using DESRU as soon as possible
