In Message there are a few other Wings following you. These Wings can interact with the environment, just like the player.

What if the Wings sort of hit something into the player from behind? Again, this would be very hard to pull off, so for the time being it would be TAS only (even though we don't know how to TAS this game yet).

Example: Kokafishin's obsolete Any% 19:20 run (you can find obsolete runs by goung to Filter > Obsoleted Runs > Shown), at 18:58 the Wings hurl a circle at Koka.

That is definitely possible, though it wouldn't save more than maybe around a second, I think. When you cross that final wall, depending on where you hit, the line can spin in a way that it hits you forward as well. I find this to be much more common, but it doesn't give as much speed as that flying circle.
