i see some people beating some bosses on simple but still being able to get through the game and finish it, but i thought u couldnt get a contract without regular mode

yeah you cant get the contracts. you cant go to the devil and king dice, but but every boss exept that you can do.

They're mainly doing it for Individual level runs or because the boss is simply too hard for them. Cuphead is very difficult to beat, so I can see that beating a boss on simple being logical.

And no you can’t finish the game, but for full game Simple runs timing ends when you speak to king dice, rather than at the credits
