Hi, I just started running the Weapons Course (No GR Skip) category, I'm about 50 runs in and my best time is a 4:43.390. However I've had some issues running the cfg file in resources. Do I need to run in untrusted or allowing third party software with the newer csgo update? Also is streaming runs recommended?
As far as I know you shouldn't need to run the game in untrusted, what kind of issues are you facing? You can open the cfg file in a text editor if you want to make sur it doesn't contain anything bad by the way. Streaming runs can be pretty nice for you as some speedrunners might come and help you ^^ And you'll just need to make a highlight of your stream to submit your run, instead of having to cut and upload a video. Well I followed the instructions for running the cfg (putting it in the game folder and then exec'ing it in console) but it just doesn't seem to run. Maybe I'll just open it in notepad and run the commands that way though. Also really helpful to know I can use twitch clips, I've just been downloading the highlights and uploading them to YouTube because I wasn't sure. Thanks 🙂
make sure that your cfg file is in the right folder : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg
(it might be a bit different but what's interesting here is the folder in the game's files)
