9 years 9 days to get kingdom rank, (9 years 13 days for achievement to popup in game though)

My first successful speedrun in anything! Took way too many restarts over the last couple of days, this just came off the back of me fighting my claimant war at 18, but suddenly died of small pox. Usually I had to restart about a dozen times between runs that got going.

Route is to go full diplo to get all the other vassals on your side to press demands on Baldy. Kept restarting for at least one pious catholic trait and buddy up the pope for kingdom claim, using piety from a pilgrimage you do as soon as you hit adult.

I could of certainly tried pressing demands earlier but I had gotten a half a dozen runs to about that point and every time Baldy said no. I was prepping for a civil war since this early I still could of beaten EmojiWithAGun's time of 14y 11m 5d. I don't see how you can get the claim as a child with the debuff and lack of piety, and all the pilgrimages bar jerusalem are 'long'.

This time can easily get beaten using this route by just chancing the press demands earlier, but I'm still very proud for my first go at speedrunning and developing my own strategy that I think is optimal for this achievement. If the stars align, you could definitely get sub-7 years with this route.
