looking to get into the speedrun, but having a hard time with the shadowboxing on patch 8. Was it fixed or am I experiencing a skill issue?

To answer your question yes it still works on Patch 8, it's just always a finicky trick (I've practiced it a lot and I'm still not super consistent). If you're still struggling with it head over to that discord server and ask there, people much more skilled than me can probably help

Also there's a tool, Divinity Fling Visualizer, which will show you where your node is set, which is super helpful
