Are the current runs done on a game version with a smaller map size? Also Arizona is in the game now too

Unknown as of this point. Unless we have a sure way of knowing which runs are on the smaller map or not.

One solution could be adding a new variable with the settings pre rescale and post rescale

All runs are done on pre-scale maps. There's an option in the game properties on steam to change to an earlier version, which will give you access to it. I'm unsure which version it is, you can just go down the list until you find it.
