I really want to try and run this game but there is one technique that is holding me back, The Net Cancel, I have no idea what I'm doing wrong so I have no idea how to adjust. I think I'm also hindered a bit by the version I'm running (PSN) because from what I understand it's a lot easier to do on the Japanese and PS2 versions. That's a net boost jump, not a net cancel :).

You're kind of right, the timing for PAL (which is what the HD version is).

The timing is indeed very specific, and squid made a video regarding that a whole ago.

I hope this helps. It doesn't work the same since it's easier on JP (and NTSC, idk) but at least kind of similar. Even I have problems with the pal boost jumps.

I'm not too experienced, but I play the PSN version and it looks to me like you might be swinging the net too late. You want to flick the stick at the same time you press the double jump, and then immediately swap gadgets. After double jumping, you want to keep the jump button pressed in order to jump as high as possible.

Thanks for the tips guys, and I didn't know for sure if I had to hold the jump button after or not so that's definitely good to know. I'ma just have to keep attacking this thing lol
