# STORROR Parkour Pro **Speedrunning**

Speedrunning is all about completing challenges as quickly as possible while following specific rules. Some runners aim for personal bests, while others compete for world records.
At the moment of writing, there are two speedrun categories:

- **Full Game**: Complete every tutorial section from start to finish.
- **Time Trials**: Complete every time trial as fast as possible.

# **Understand the Rules**

Every submission must follow the official rules to be accepted. There are 3 types of rules:

1. **Game Rules**: Rules that apply to every speedrun..
2. **Category Rules**: Rules that apply to a specific category, for example: ‘Time Trials’.
3. **Individual Level Rules**: rules that apply to specific levels, for example: ‘Race to IMAX’.

# **Your First Run**

1. **Rules**: Ensure that your recording follows the rules.
2. **Video**: Record**** your gameplay using software like OBS, NVIDIA ShadowPlay, or Xbox Game Bar.
3. **Upload**: Upload your video to a platform like YouTube and copy the video URL.
4. **Submission**: Go to the STORROR Parkour Pro page, click ‘Submit Run’ and fill out all the required details before clicking on the ‘Submit’ button.
5. **Verification**: Wait for the verification of the run by one of the Verifiers / Moderators.

# Tips & Tricks

## 1. Landing

- **Non-Sprinting Jump**: When you perform a non-sprinting jump, it's faster to roll after landing.
- **Sprinting Jump**: When you perform a sprinting jump, it's faster to land without a role.
- **Bunny Hopping / chain hopping**: If you tap jump right before landing, there's a chance you retain your speed after landing.

# Important Update

As of the May 7th update, all Time Trial routes in STORROR Parkour Pro have been reworked or adjusted. This means older runs are no longer directly comparable to new ones.

Leaderboards now include a “Game Update" selector to separate runs:
