This game was lost media for years and was only uncovered around September of 2023 thanks to a user on archive.org dumping lots of stored APK's they had downloaded over the years. The user is anonymous, so huge thanks to them. But how do you get this running?

1: Go to this link and download the APK for F1 Challenge. This download was initially an archive.org link, but that original page was taken down for unknown reasons. Fortunately, i still have both the APK and OOB files that i downloaded before it was taken down, thus keeping the game preserved.

2: Go to this link and install this legacy version of BlueStacks. This version runs on Android 4, which supports the app on top of many other legacy applications. This download is also entirely safe.

3: Install the APK to BlueStacks after you've got it running, but DON'T open it! If you do at this stage, the game will detect that it hasn't been bought from a store and self destruct itself.

4: Install a file browser app on BlueStacks, the one that I used was ZArchiver, and you can find it on the Google Play Store.

5: Insert the .obb file for the game into your hard drive. This is most easily done by accessing the "Media Manager" app from BlueStacks and then selecting the "Import From Windows" button. It will tell you that ".obb" files aren't supported, but regardless the file will have been imported.

6: Navigate through these folders: storage/DCIM/SharedFolder. Inside of it you will find the .obb file that you just installed.

7: Copy the .obb file and locate this folder: storage/sdcard/Android/obb, and within that folder search for a folder called "com.reliancegames.f1challenge". If the folder isn't there, create it yourself, but make sure the name completely matches.

8: Paste the .obb file in that folder.

The game should now launch like normal. Enjoy!

(And one more tip, you can bind your KERS to a button rather than having to select the left half of the screen just to activate it. Look for the keyboard button with the switch next to it in the bottom right, then when you are in the layout editor click on the left side of the screen. You can bind the key to whatever you want, and when you save the layout if you press that button in game, it will activate your KERS for you)
