The code on https://github.com/blha303/srcomapi itself does not work, I get syntax errors and stuff. Is there a link to some kind of simpler documentation that has some simpler stuff that I could build off of. I totally could be doing things wrong, but it seems to not work with copy-pasting (removing the >>>) obviously.

yeah portal / cube textures are fine, the only thing that would be bad is like wall textures with "hints" on them or stuff like that

I really like the category selection layout, really clean! the only thing I would change is maybe to incorporate your selected theme a bit more into the site, (the speedrun.com logo, some of the text.)
