on the final boss i am confused on when to stop timing because i stop on fade out where you lose control but when i saw socialspeedrunner's run i saw that he stopped timing as soon as he got the final hit so can someone tell me when i am supossed to stop so i know? thanks.

i don't know if they have access to spanish but in north america english is faster so if spanish has the same text then it would be slower then english which they can not choose

your right it is not all luck but most of it is luck and the thing is bassically one big marithon unlike lots of RNG runs like super mario maker 10 mario challenge which on easy is about 5 mins long with decent RNG but this is a marathon run and something that people would not run often as you can have one split ruin the run. Say you are at S and you are -30:00 but then you lose 1:00:00 and now you are +30:00 near the very end of the run all because of RNG so honestly i don't see it being a catigory

i am kind of mixed about this because yes it basically is a meme and it probably would not get that popular anyway. It is just 8 hours of RNG to see if you beat your time. I think it might be good to have it though because online mode is the main mode in the game and most of my viewers on my streams have said that it kind of makes sence to have a speedrun for the main mode in the game and one of them has done a run of getting to king during the most recent splatfest so i don't know what side i am on

i think it is fair to add a certain amount because like you said they do not have an option to play on english but i think there would need to be alot of retiming for the little bits where you just mash A to get through text so the time to be deducted is as acurrate as possible instead of just using a rough estimate because that could make there times innacurate. I do know a better solution though and that is for NINTENDO TO KILL THE REGION LOCKS. WHY DO THEY EXIST NINTENDO

along with 50 star i think there should be a new catigory called 8 or 9 star where you get 8 stars to unlock the bowser one door then do the SBLJ to get past the 30 star door and into DDD or directly into BITFS and then do the BLJ to the final bowser. Anyone agree?

i would like to see some indevisual console runs for every mario game on that console not including vc even as a misk catigory i think it would be cool

is there a cirtain order of the 10 mario challenge courses or is it just RNG that decides what level is next

no i am not reffering to that, while that is a good idea and i agree with that what i was reffering to was the event courses made by developers although now it does not seem like that good of an idea because they add more of them and will continue to do so but i think that would be for the first ones that were released which is super mario kun to ship love

could there be a catigory for the speical course that was in the update? i don't remember the name of the section but you get to it by hitting the toad in the corner. I think that would be a good catigory even as a misk i would do it... even though i suck at mario maker

i would like to race as well but i have not learned any% or all gems yet i only run all levels NG+ but trying to learn the others. Saturday and sunday would be good for me because i am out of school then and i have lots of free time.

i was thinking there could be a subject where the player had to complete the solo minigame river or one where the player has to play all of the minigames

i have tried everything i can think of and i can not get livesplit into my stream. I stream with xsplit broadcaster and i wanted to know if it was possible to put livesplit into xsplit broadcaster and if so would i have to get the membership to do so

in the boss speedruns at the bottom of the IL section i can not find the boss menu to select it so i wanted to know if that is the boss tent bosses or not

could we have a catigory where the player only needs to get all the required items to unlock the extra level in that world and complete but they are not required to get anything else. I also have another one where the player only has to beat the boss levels only on a seperate file of course and i think timing would start when the player comfirmes the badge on the badge selection screen and timing stops when the player gets the final hit on giant baby bowser.
