@PresJPolk that's weird, I don't have to change any other option than the level filter, for instance look for me in the 0, 15 and 16. I can see myself there every time without having to touch the obsoleted runs option. It's constantly on "Hidden"
@Loudgoat: Maybe you should just read the tone of the first bit of criticism, coming from the first conflictive person here.
I think you're mistaking my intentions and still keeping your childish behavior.
I will say that I admit you're right on what you're saying that people that don't have times are equally important. I was just talking about the people who were complaining here in a rude way. As I said before, I agree with the fact that community had to be consulted before.
Also, please don't try to use ad hominem arguments with me, `because in that case I could say that your 'gang' started with the childish and rude behavior in this forum.
It's also curious how the only people who seem to have this kind of 'gang' behavior are Zelda runners, what's the deal with that?
I also agree that looking for community opinions about it could have made this better, but I like the changes. You can select every level you want, and you will still see the "1st", "2nd", "3rd" (well and the rest of the leaderboard) and the runners:
Stop complaining when you don't even run the game.
There should be a discussion on how to call the categories with wrong warp or no wrong warp, but I think those runs shouldn't coexist in the same leaderboard.
Yeah there was a discussion about this a couple days ago and it was concluded it's fake.
Why would anyone have an input file of their run anyways?
I had this problem in a race yesterday. And multiple times in the past.
In my most humble opinion I don't think that should be necessary. What would prevent anyone with knowledge on the game to run and submit runs on this category, that has no differences in mechanics and just more lives?
Put some effort. Believe me, the game can be easily learned in less than one week. if I, and 104 other people could, you also can.
Maybe you can run those 30 lives and keep it to yourself, then get into the any% category.
Ánimo.
This could be solved by only posting miliseconds in sub 12 minutes, or even sub 11:50 times, so that would take the moderators less work to check and verify the videos.
This is awesome, thank you so much, will be really helpful for learning warpless without having to mess up with so many savestates!
Is there any way to restart a level or could that be implemented in a future? Only if it is not much work (for example, pausing and pressing B could result in a level restart)
Thank you for taking your time on making this tool
I don't see why 100% should have been removed, and I think pacifist should fall into Misc. also. There were even some runs in the 100% category.
I must say that I feel more comfortable and I can focus much more when playing offline. I'm not capable of sub5'ing yet but I think I'm getting every time closer, and I wouldn't like to get "the run" while playing offline and not being able to submit it. Sometimes I just don't have the time or I just don't feel like streaming for a few runs. Some people might feel like that too.
Don't know anything about that one, but I got this weird thing once
1- Add the dll file to the Components folder where your LiveSplit is installed 2- Open livesplit 3- Go to "edit layout", add a "control" component. You'll see the super mario plugin there
New999, you don't even run the game, why don't you just shut up lol.
I think the categories are ok as they are now. Spikestuff can you just stop being such nuisance to the runners if you're not even (human) running the game, and say exactly what you want?
