I wanted to ask a question about the widescreen game mod available on WideScreenGamingForum.
Through the links (https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/1654-shark-tale-fov-fix/ and https://www.wsgf.org/dr/shark-tale/en), you can download a zip file that allows you to change the resolution of the game from the native 1024x860 (I believe?) to a more standard 1920x1080.
Would using this fix be considered unfair / illegal for speed-running purposes or no?

I'm on the GameCube and was wondering if there was a way to select specific levels to play. As far as I can tell, the only way to play the 8th level (for example) is to play levels 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. Is there a hidden menu somewhere?

As of me checking today (1/18/2024), it seems as though the sole guide (entitled "Description of Game") in the 'Guides' tab is no longer working.
The link "http://www.frictionlessinsight.com/archives/2004/10/shark-tale-revi.html" opens a page in the WayBack machine that contains no information about SharkTale (2004).
I would suggest that this post be removed as it is no longer applicable. I will create and post a revamped description of the game by the end of today (hopefully).
^ The screen I was taken to. There is no reference to SharkTale (2004) and trying to search in the searchbox at the top right of the page displays that the WayBack Machine has not archived any searches on this website.
In case anyone was wondering, the PC-ROM port of this game is considered a completely different game on this website.
