We should have been doing RTA timing from the start, with Map Snap... but we haven't. And neither of the other mods are active... and I just don't particularly care at this point :( I'd just reject a run of this lagginess.

You can change your settings for any button/key from hold to toggle. I'd recommend changing your zoom buttons to toggle. This is what I do, and it's a life saver.
The big distinction here is that you're able to walk over the fence, in both directions, with no object or weird sequence of button presses. If it required a clip or a hover to do, it would not be allowed in glitchless. But since it is only using main movement techniques of the game, we don't define it as a glitch.
Also, strategy wise, I'd expect a combo of Mostly Walking + The Lone Wolf to be the fastest... no time wasted getting the car or building the bridge + ignoring Cody and Barry. IIRC, I did a test run where I earned both of those achievements on the same playthrough, so it is possible.
And you can win each day a bit less than perfect which will save time. I think especially on day 4, where you could ignore either the bus or the lab item, and you'll still win the day, and Cate will die (part of the Lone Wolf achievement). This'll also make the Moon faster.
We have an Armor Games Studios discord, which is where we ran betas for DE4. It's a really small discord, but it's the only place I have access to for DE4 fan community. It's not active. There is no official discord for Scriptwelder or DE4.

After getting the True Ending, you unlock the ability to select which scenario you want for each day. That should eliminate the randomness of which ones you'll get. Haven't run any tests, but I'm positive one over the others will be fastest each day (except Day 4 should be the same either way).
