Don't have obs right now so can't explain in depth but you want to have your background in a specific color, and you want that specific color to be set in your stream soft in order to not show it (just like a green screen)

Well i'm not on my pc, so i don't have livesplit before my eyes, but i will try to explain from my memory and scrrenshot from the web.

If i'm not wrong there is to 2 ways to accomplish what you want.

You can edit your script and try to look for RER in game, and see if there is an autoscripter (my last run on this game is from a few month so i don't remember if there is something). I'm talking about this window (it's just the first screenshot i found so don't pay attention to arrow and shit) :

The others solution (i think this was what working for me) is to download the script from the resources on speedrun.com, and add it on the layout section :

I don't remember the name of the layout but this is something like autosplit or a thing like that, but i'm sure there is an native option on livesplit.

Be sure to compare against game time when you start your run, this is mandatory if you want livesplit to start on this own and split automatically.

If it's still not working, or if you don't have the option i'm talking about, i thing you need to download the latest version of livesplit. I had somes problems when i use the auto update from livesplit, it can mess up the software (at least for me), so i prefer to download the latest version on my own.

The first time you try to implement livescript, it can be a bit hard, but with time you will get used to.

I submit a run like 3 days ago, in the any% standard Leon pc category.

I think i submit the form a bit too fast and forget to change the plateform to PC (i submit with the ps4 value).

Should I resend the run or is it ok ?

I don't really have the memory that the game was hard as a kid, mainly cause i took the time to kill everyone so i was always at max stats for bosses :) (except the first time when i acheive to get all the red jewels, then the soul blazer boss was really hard lol). But now that i'm trying to be fast, i think that some stage are really hard to be played fast :D

I reread and think i didn't understand, was thinking that you couldn't limit to 120 so fps was above 120. But if i understand you are locked to 60 ? If your monitor is a 60Hz maybe you need to turn off v-sync

Lol that look's funny, i never finished the fight after that thing happens so i never saw what happens after ahah.

For the fight, i finally after some training got some safe techs. Was not really fast but at least this fight was not a run killer anymore. Just trying to first kill the lady with some safe harass, then kill the man more or less quickly depending on how many hp i still have. Sometimes have to just hit him once at a time just cause i was low hp but a least it works.

Finally got a place in the leaderboard one month ago but this game speedrunning is really tiring. 1h45 speedrun then it's the pyramid and you die at the sixpack, that's a lot ton handle :D

Yep the configuration works this way for a lot of Resident Evil Games (RE1HD, RE2R, RE3R) where you have the choice between 30, 60 or Variable, where variable means variable in the game but for RE speedrunning means 120 fps cap.

Just use variable and it's good, you just need to cap at 120 fps via nvidia conf for example or a third party app, as you want

That's weird, never had random autosplit in RE3.

Just to be sure to understand, have you finish a run without issues on the autosplit ? First i think you can double check that you have the same number of split and the same number of "check case" in the srt. Maybe update to the latest version of livesplit ? I'm not really sure about this but maybe someone had encounters the same issues as you
