I've seen a few runs of people using the soda cans and stuff to give themselves a boost at the start of the run. Although this isn't allowed in official runs, i feel like it would be a fun sub category. Might add it after the tournament is over.

there are 2 discoveries that we made very recently, and I want to ask you guys how we should move forward.

1. runners on mobile can double jump faster than runners on PC, because mobile players have no debounce time for jumping. PC runners have to wait 0.3 seconds after their first jump to be able to jump again for a double jump, where mobile runners can do it with no restriction (which means they're realistically only waiting 0.1 seconds to double jump again). This is a roblox feature, not a pig 64 issue, which means this isn't getting fixed anytime soon.

2. Different skins and cosmetics have different hitboxes which means longer jumps with one skin may not be possible with another skin (ex: the frog skin sucks). This wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for the fact that COSMETICS cost robux, and certain cosmetics(not all) give you an advantage (The police officer cosmetic can allow you to do jumps you wouldn't be able to do otherwise).

My suggestion to fixing this is adding subcategories for each level titled "Mobile" and "PC/Console, as well as banning the use of certain robux cosmetics for speedruns. I'd love to hear your feedback, and whether or not you guys agree with this decision. I'll likely implement them tomorrow.

Hello, after a bit of research I've found that this game isn't available anymore, likely due to the copyright problems with using characters from other video games. Does anyone know how I could still get this game?

Apologies for not verifying for the past two weeks! A lot's been happening in my life recently as well as school, and I haven't had much time to verify runs. Getting them all verified right now, I also might add a new verifier for book 2 to help out. Good luck runners! Hope y'all understand

Since book 2 is not as commonly ran as book 1, you only need multiple POVs of a squad/trio run if it is world record. If a trio glitch is a worse time than the trio glitchless, it does not require more POVs. However, we always recommend having as many people recording as possible.

Heist is now moved to the Misc section. It can still be ran and submitted, since you can choose the map if you own a vip server.

MiniToon has announced that Distorted Memory will be returning to book 1 in VIP servers. With that being said, the map will remain as a MISC category, and the All chapters category will only require chapters 1-12. We might change the name “all chapters” since it technically isn’t all chapters, we’re up for ideas.

If a trio run is 1st place on speedrun.com and it is slower than the duo wr, the run may still be verified without a 2nd POV. The run may still be subject to being rejected, so we advise to always having as many POVs as possible in trio+ runs.

Edit: Same goes for squad. Your run is at a higher risk of being rejected if 1 POV submitted doesn't provide enough proof that no glitches were used if it was a glitchless run.

In Chapter 4: Forest, there is a bug where you can use the white key on a wrench panel if that wrench panel is already used, specifically the one in the red door. After discussing it with the mods, we unanimously decided that this bug will only be allowed in glitch% runs. We apologize for the announcement very late after this was discovered.

A few minutes ago, an update released which introduced the swarm gamemode. The swarm gamemodes adds new bots every minute, with the 2nd bot coming in when the timer reaches 8:30. This does not affect some runs. You may choose to speedrun on this gamemode although it gives you a disadvantage, however there's no harm in picking the game mode if your run is going to be roughly 1 minute and 30 seconds or less.

Just to be clear, playing on Chinese Piggy Is allowed. I've added that to the rules just so there's no confusion.

You might've not noticed but we merged 4p, 5p, and 6p runs all to one category now called SQUAD. With the addition of this revamp, we renamed glitch% 4p to glitch% SQUAD as well, that way you can submit your 5p or 6p glitched runs B)

Infinite speed glitch will be banned from runs due to the external set-up required for it. You may not use it in an all chap either. it is also banned due to the overpowered nature of it and possibility of it getting patched in future updates vid for reference:
