In Bison_H's run, In the major skips category, at 10:55 in he uses a revival statue in Salamand to trigger the encounter with Emporer. Its the only run I've seen that uses this trick. I am curious on how its done or if there is possibly other ways to execute this trick.

I see that their are 3 speedruns demonstrating the wrong warp in the any% NES category but I cant figure out how they are executed, Ive tried replicating it but have failed to do so. Is there a route or strategy someone could share?

Its a good thought, but it would really be a competition for the highest score, not who can do it fastest. It just sounds like waiting out the shot clock before scoring
