Michigan, USADoes time end when the chips are swallowed or just in the mouth? Also, with the rules stating the video must show the seal being opened, does that mean timing starts when the seal on top is opened? What about other methods of entry, are they banned?
I understand that the reason behind calling the category 100% refers to collecting all of Lamont's favorite things, however in a true 100% category shouldn't the runner also collect all the earthlings?
I would suggest renaming the category that uses warps but collects the Lamont items to any% Best Ending or something to that effect.
The rules have been updated to change the timing so that the run ends on the white flash at the end of the tornado sequence after the boss fight. As of this message all current runs have been adjusted.
We have decided that quitting to the menu and continuing to skip the "level up" sequence between some levels will be allowed. As Riekelt brought up using the level select menu skips too much and thus will not be allowed. Use the continue button (top left on the main menu, in case you can't read chinese) only.
yes, that seems like a logical spot. however i think since there are dialogue boxes to go through i think that should be considered part of the run. if it was a straight up cut scene with no input whatsoever that would be a different story. another logical spot would be when it switches to the drone screen since technically it has a credit sequence? but there's still user input. maybe some outside opinions from veteran speedrunners would be a good idea.
I think the current spot is appropriate. If we do change it I think the times can just be adjusted.
