United StatesI have been practicing blindfold runs for the passed month. Getting to 4-1 is insanely easy after 100 attempts for the past 30 days. still struggling with world 8. My death is I only have a console. No savestates etc. just the run from 1-1 over and over. (Fine with me) the . The normalized counting is a little difficult. I usually settled on music cues. . I do not know how long @ Lul_ecks_dee . It could be 3 months to 1 year or more. And I have a backup run also for those days I don’t want to run it. I will run as much as I can though. At least 3-4 playthroughs a day. 👍🕹🔮
he tied the TAS in the 5-4 category which means all of the fpg's and fast excels and wall clips etc. were all executed perfectly! it only took him 8 months... actually i think it took a lot longer.
I only made a post because it is a big accomplishment. I would not have posted it otherwise. Just like if you tie the TAS in Any% or warpless. These are the only three I would post on anyway. They are just important and hard categories. The others are hard, but they do not get enough attention. Thanks for the feed back.
I am amazed at @GTAce99 and his determination! Its not every day you tie a TAS in an RTA run! I was there watching many of his attempts and am so happy for him that he has achieved his goal, and what a goal that was. I would not be surprised if someone does not tie his record for 1-2 year(unless strat is found which seems unlikely) I am placing my bet on 2 ; } So I just want to say good job and for everyone to take a few seconds from the amazing runners miniland and niftski to understand this guys accomplishment.
ban him, warn him, mute him, for smapping 100% fake world records in any% twice already.

I have two categories I am practicing right now. Once I get the WR I will finally post the video and take a break from them for the last 4 months. Then I will have nothing better to do than run warpless. ( if I do not get the record for either of them by the end of February I will post the 2nd and 3rd place times I have achieved for the categories. {bad internet} I am not going to tell you the categories. yet.) this means that I will hopefully get better and better at warpless in the coming months. :)
I don't get it? are people still running this cat? The 18:59 was five months ago. AND IT IS SO CLOSE!!! I guess I will just have to start playing this cat and take it over ;)
Lets say I run 1-1 as small Mario. I only need help for the first path. Are there different speeds if you go over the very top mystery block or if you go onto middle path or if you go the bottom? Also on the two tall pipes (second one being the down under pipe) is it faster to jump the gap, to stomp the goomba, or to go in front or back of one of the goomba's? This has probably come up before but I can not find it. I think I heard someone say it was the same, but I think there has to be different speeds. (no matter how slight) THANKS

I got the WR in one of the categories 27th try but I was still practicing and only timing. No recording! That was luck and I hope I can do it again :(
Basically it can not be used because it can be modified(at least that is what I gathered)
