I have also thought of something similar, but mostly since I have no capture card. I have called it 'Midway', and either played the first or second part of the level as an IL.
That way is the Switch's own record device enough on many levels. Could at least be something for runners with less experince.
I have PMed you over there :)

Thank you once again. Do you have twitter? If yes, could you analyze two of mine short videos? Both of them takes around 30 seconds to view. The first one am I only trying to Crouch Boost and on the second I try to do both; I simply wonder if I succed to use Crouch Boost at all or if the speed gain is only by Vectoring.
Can a experinced player notice the two following;
- if I am able to get any Crouch Boosting at all while Vectoring?
- If I am Crouch Boosting or simply jumping - even for a very short moment (8 seconds)?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks a lot to both of you.
I guess I got mine speed boost from Vectoring then only and not by Crunch Boosting. I actually thought I managed to do Crunch Boosting, but failed Vectoring but it was the opposite, lol.
I must also salute speedrun.com for being fast to answer, tried to get answers first at Youtube but that never happend.
Back to practise I guess!
Thank you LiterA!
I have two follow-up questions.
-
Do you actually need to roll/slider X (ZR) to A to use Crunch Boosting? Doesen't double pressning both buttoms also work?
-
Must the angle, when Vectoring, be 45°? Or does angles around 30-60° also work?
Thanks in advance.
