I'm removing all runs without video evidence and only allowing runs with video proof from here on in the full-game categories. Sorry for any runs that are removed in the process but I think a rules revamp should be made.

1). Should Chameleon Run Deluxe on Switch be made as a seperate game and board since it has more levels, more worlds, different level order and is played with controller?
2). What does repetitive switch actually mean cause it isn't a mode in the game and it seems kinda dumb?
3). I've done a run of Deluxe World 1 which is 5 levels and if Deluxe is to become a seperate board, can I become a mod of said board?

So today... I broke my toe. I was supposed to go somewhere for the weekend but that really stumped my movement anywhere. Yes this sounds irrelevant BUT HOLD ON. So stuck in my bed I decided to actually try to be a good SRCom mod and this was my first duty. So in a weird way, me getting hurt only helped in the long run I guess lol xd. So what did I change. I added the long awaited Olympic/Dream split. I also added the asked for IL's and put Wii U as an option. But I also cleared up the boards in general (if you look at the London Party tab and some Main/Misc re-ordering) and am rn open to some more category requests if wanted.
So it came to my attention that how fast your run is may actually be dependant on what your final minigame is. For example, if your final minigame is 'Settle It In Court', you will be gaining 0 points and if it were anything but last, it wouldn't trigger a cutscene since you don't raise in the balloon so it is essentially like getting the minigame in any other place. But if you get something like 'Kartastrophe' last, you will have to watch a cutscene of the balloon raising normally, however, since timing ends on the final challenge being beaten, if you get that last, you skip that cutscene within the time of the speedrun. And the catch is that your final minigame is total RNG. So I propose to change the timings to when you click 'A' on the Results screen where it says "A End". However the only problem is that runs we have on currently don't always show that final section and therefore, make it increasingly hard to add on that time. Does anybody have any remedies to this problem?
For All Towers, what classifies as "beating" the level. Is it mandatory to beat the Koopaling at the end of the level or lets say for like 4-F and 7-F, can I just get the secret exit and that counts as beating the level? And also please clarify in rules k cool thx
I intend to clean up this srcom page even though I don't care. Only reason I am is cause I'm mod for all other M&S game and I feel almost obligated to do so cause ngl, this is a shitfest. No rules, use of an inaccurate IGT system and 2 minutes of the WR video... like that shouldn't fly for any game, no matter how big or small the community is.
I'm playing on PS2 and I see a really clear load time difference in my loads to WR on emulator. For the vast majority of PS2 games, emulator is banned because of this blatant unfair advantage. I would highly prefer if emu was either 1. banned all together, 2. separated from the legitimate PS2 leaderboard or 3. someone found a PS2 emu which matched near exactly the loads of a legit PS2. I've added 2 new misc. categories for the game. The Green Fox Challenge and The For Glory Jigglypuff Challenge. These 2 challenges are, yes, very stupid and meme like but I think it takes actual skill to do them and can at least be misc. categories. Tell me what you guys think whether I should keep them or not
I want to address the mods mainly with this one but also some runners. First of all, and the biggest for me, is the 1 char WR video. Did no-one check this at all because i calculated the time as 5:40 and not 5:35 but clearly you don't give a shit since, guess what, you don't require verification which is actually the dumbest idea for such an RNG based game which is so popular. Also, have you ever thought about extending the rules to more than just one word explanation such as "chest." Like what the fuck. There are communities with 2 people with better rules than yours and you guys are just lazing around with some of the worst rules I've seen for a long time.
I wouldn't mind getting a response since you're not just letting your community down which seem really dedicated to the game, but speedrunning in general and I'm surprised anyone hasn't covered this yet.
The fact that you keep verifying a run which has only 10 minutes of proof in a 100+ minutes category which is also the main category, pisses me off especially considering I have rejected it 3 times now and it claims to be WR. Thanks
In the World RTA's, when it says we "Beat the level(s) whilst collecting every star coin in said level(s). You may begin the IL with any power up except Superstar." We're allowed to start with the powerup from the beginning, but can we use more powerups outside the levels during the run?
I want to make a limit for when you need a video. E.g. If you have a sub xx:xx you must supply a video
When it comes to this game, it takes my PC a solid 30 seconds to load the game so I was wondering if we could have time w/o loads which would consist of the time of the game minus the time between Flowey killing the game and first input on reload?
I was thinking about having a category like All Characters. What do you guys think?
