Does anyone think this would make an interesting run? I'm thinking of routing it. Is there any easy way to track the collectibles though?
I mean I know they appear in your apartment but that's not really easy to track.
I guess mods would have to tally them all and make sure the runs valid which is sort of annoying.
Interesting. might explore it at some point. just trying to learn the rbdoom3bfg route right now minus some of the harder tech.
Would there be any benefits to running the base version of doom 3 I have my disk still. Unfound tech etc? I assume it might be difficult to run on current operating systems.
Oh sweet I didn't see this reply. I'll try and get a run dun before the reboot comes out.
So what about if we had a catagory that was from a completed savegame where you play all missions that are not auto scrollers eg no Zero Hour. The Great Train Robbery. In Utter Darkness. All In. etc
Is Gentlemen of the Row allowed? it's basically sanctioned by Volition at this point and was going to be an official patch but unfortunely the dev died. I'm also not even sure how you run this game properly on pc without it. If this isn't the case I think it should be added to the rules because the games basically unplayable on pc otherwise.
"Upgradless%:" Self explanatory but basically no upgrades are allowed
"Low%": Complete game with Lowest amount of collectibles possible. Least Collectibles > Time. Like Zelda Twilight Princess etc. unsure if this would include studds.
"90% / 1000 Kyber bricks": there's an achievement for Collecting 1000 Kyber Bricks, so maybe a catagory for people who want to complete most of the game but doesn't require adderal to finish like 100% kekw
"All Mission Challenges:". Any% but you have to complete all mission challenges, got this idea from my last speedrun game
not sure how a just dlc run would work though because you could have varing amounts of resources going into it which would change the speed. would be nice if it was possible though because a shorter run for this game would be nice.
How would a dlc run go? I guess you'd start with a 100% save from the first game before the first dlc quest or would you just do a normal run + dlc? Anyway thinking of doing a run of it and a 100% run as well
