I think unlocking all the levels via cheat and then getting directly into doing the wetsuits would be more fun to do because it wouldn't have you having to play the entire career just for tracks.

Doing them during the career would be interesting too but seems like it'd make for a real long run.

Would that include getting the bonus one or just the ones with icons? Because if the swimsuit is included than that would mean needing to beat career still.

I do think it could be something where you just enter the cheat to unlock all courses and then go grab em all.

Might be a fun category and I would prob try it out.

Personally I would like if there were some way that Flipwitch could have speedrun boards, even if not on SRC. I feel like a metroidvania like that is prime to be played fast.

This would be nice because I would prefer to run IL:s instead of the whole game.

Personal opinion, As far as I can tell the Xbox version is hardly any different. The only thing that really changes is there is one more track.

That is impressive, I'm seeing some stuff I haven't before.

Having looked into it now, I can say that emulator is playable but it isn't great. decent amount of graphical glitches however the most recent version of PCSX2 will give you less frame drops than actual hardware.

I will attempt to contact Mandy64 on the matter and I have gotten a response before, I'll see if the two of us might be able to become mods for the game as I have also expressed interest in the running for both splashdown games.

I've mostly only done casual runs so far but from those runs I've gathered that Eriko is just the best character overall. Good adrenaline pool and doesn't crawl around at the start of an unexpected fight. I've tried Kevin or Michele for a level and they just don't seem to be as good as Eriko. Jorg has great Adrenaline but can only be used in one level.

Oh I would be using a SD card replacement for the disc drive but it is a real Dreamcast system I'd run on. I would be able to run on real disc if nessecary though.

I do own a real copy (prized possession of my collection) but would I be able to run it off GDEMU or would I have to use a real disc for runs?

Is there a reasoning behind why they are seperate? Since load times are not counted is there anything else that's faster/slower about emulator compared to console? If not, wouldn't it make sense to consolidate into a single category?

Nice to see someone found a strat to this run. I never attempted it myself but it's real cool seeing someone other than admonisher in a run which is what I assumed to be the optimal character for any run.
