Is it legal to use other items (mice) to fill up the trash compactor or does it have to be the trash cubes?

just because if done correctly it can save some time. but am uncertain if its vaild for speedruns and if it was no major skips or skipless

will there be an update to the leader boards, to include the updated tutorial, for example have a board for the old tutorial and the new one?
