Right, I mean that you need the War Hammer to break down some walls, and not using it in combat.
Thanks. I just realized we need to specify War Hammer is required, but only on the walls. I also used it to get the Jewel of the Demon Seal in Hayabusa Village (if that's decided to be allowed).
Everyone would have different money entering chapter 2, and it would be hard to manage if they farmed money on mages and samurai, before making a save to start the run. So I don't think that would work.
We should add the completely top tier category of "Wooden Sword Only" Rules would need to be specified because you can't get the Wooden Sword until ch2, but I imagine the rule would be that you cannot eliminate any enemies until you purchase Wooden Sword from Muramasa. Then Wooden Sword is required the rest of the run.
To close the loop on this, for anyone else reading. This has been added to the category extentions. https://www.speedrun.com/ninja_gaiden_black_category_extensions/full_game#Any_Continued
I would like to request https://www.speedrun.com/ninja_gaiden_black_category_extensions to be a category extension of https://www.speedrun.com/ninja_gaiden_black. Thank you.
Hello, I am looking to become a Ninja Gaiden Series Mod. In discussing with two of the current Ninja Gaiden Series Mods (BackSlash and KrazyRasmus), they wanted to help with this happening, but both realized that they do not have the rights to do so. KrazyRasmus recommended that I reach out here for next steps. Since I am unfamiliar with this process, I can explain the reason I am looking for this status. It was noticed that the current Ninja Gaiden Series Moderators aren't familiar with the 3D Ninja Gaiden games, I would like to help with the moderation of that because I am very involved with the community, and am working with the 3D Ninja Gaiden Leaderboard mods with upcoming tutorials (and other updates). Please let me know if additional information is needed. Thank you!
Hello, Since NGB, NGII, and NG3 are all playable on Xbox One (Also, NGB is available on 360). Would it make sense to broaden the scope of the rules that are currently set?
I will have to double check, but I thought that it input a new difficulty at the start screen?
Is there any advantage to someone running Ninja Dog difficulty? After a quick look online: It seems like damage from enemies is lighter, items can be cheaper, and Ayane can give damage buffs from her shuriken?
this is great! Can't wait to do this myself
This post is not to knock anyone, but more curious about the rules vs what videos get approved. Our top two runs don't have timers. Looking at the rules it shows that it is required to have a timer on screen (I prefer to have one so that I can compare). If we are to hope that this game gets more runners like Kanis helped bring up at SGDQ (which was awesome!), we should be consistent with updated rules whether there is a timer or not.
