@Back I might be able to give you a sense of direction.
Edit: I sent them a message just in case and directed them to this thread.
This category is not glitchless, everything is still allowed excluding Super Jumps. This was the simplest solution to adding a new category to the game without it being overly memey and tedious. Without Super Jumps you will be pushed into using old strats and tricks to complete the run (that makes Shivering Mountains and Mirror Mansions arena skips harder again).
That also means the Japanese version is the fastest version as well but nonetheless this should be a fun category to inspire runners to do if they are afraid of doing frame perfect tricks.
This was something I talked to some other mods about since it is almost impossible to come up with more categories for the game to make them somewhat interesting.
NOTE: The only other category that could be added as misc is coinless which is probably the hardest category in the entire game but maybe another day I'll add that.
EDIT: I'll just add Coinless into the misc category. Good luck with those who do it.
Why wasn't this included in the notes originally? Also, probably should've just resubmitted providing that information (I assume it was asked) instead of posting here since once something is rejected no one can do anything about it until its resubmitted again.
If I had it my way I would've locked this thread away days ago, personally. Liv responded three days ago on page 1.
I have nothing to actually add to this discussion other than that seems like people have said some great things already, better off to drop it.
It was denied because series mods tend to complain about it if we add games to their series without talking to them first. This was my attempt to kinda flip it around so the end-user makes an attempt first to talk to the series mods ahead of time before we add it so that they will add it themselves before coming to us. (hope that makes sense, sounds confusing a bit).
It just saves some jumping around.
Worth adding that I had to use the 32bits version of OBS Studio to get any image out of AmarecTV with OBS Studio (even though my PC is a 64bits operating system).
I haven't tried it standalone but it could that this may be the same case. Worth a try.
Sort-of, I never bothered to create a video about on how to do certain tricks or anything of the sort since you end up learning in naturally after a few runs. But I did create a small guide about some of the basics and advanced stuff.

My youtube also has a ton of content of the game which you could scan over and get the general idea of the route.
Always up to the moderators of the games they moderate to determine the rules usually with the community and come to an understanding and acceptance of what should happen or be done.
But I do agree with you.
Applies for all Wario games and has been around for quite awhile although it should appear for all the Wario boards.
I should of done this across all Wario boards but there is a official Wario Discord here; https://discord.gg/48qywSs
Request a sticky.
This has come up a few times during my streams, discord and here on this forum. So, I'll go over the rules for them.
First, the reason I decided on allowing up to times of 47:xx minutes with these pieces of software is for the mere fact I don't want to discourage anyone from speedrunning the game.
Now, all these things I do ALLOW to submit times for. However, I won't ever accept them if they are under sub 47 minutes this way it doesn't discourage anyone from running the game and allows quite a bit of time to shave off before I would have to reject the run and of course doesn't get a "cheated" WR in the future.
Now, the reason it's NOT ALLOWED beyond sub 47 is of the loading and lag differences using these pieces of software. For example, Nintendon't doesn't emulate the lag whatsoever in the game (A prime example of this is at the fight with Red-Briefs J).
Now as of 8/11/2017 I have decided to enforce the rule since it has been asked nonstop.
Gamecube and Wii are fine and any official release that comes out of the game in the future.
It's not enforced, it will be when more runners can accomplish such a time.
Emulator is banned for times under 48. Although I don't enforce that rule because no one is even close to such a time. It's because of lag differences.
USB Loader for example gives no lag whatsoever.
I know this is an old thread, I missed it. Gotta remember that 100% includes World 0 completion as well. Back when it was only Vlacksr and I, that's what we agreed on but neither of us really wanted to run the category seeing how long and grindy it'd be.
Though don't let that stop you, I'd love to see some routing done to this myself.
The only time someone did was becored and I remember him being disappointed about the the differences (he lives in japan afterall) which ended up with him not really interested to run it because of the potential time loss. The japanese disc costs cheaper compared to english as well.
This was more of a future thing, and people have been asking me about future categories. Most likely though, nothing is going to really change right now and this is just future planning.
So, for a long time I have thought about if rather or not the japanese version of the game should be it's own category or not.
The japanese version has a different played out final boss fight the last four cycles of the boss you brawl on head on and it becomes completely RNG based. but it also has some fixes applied to it compared to other versions of the game. Some of these they patched out the Angler Fish Glitch, making slopes more slippery, fixing a ledge grab in shivering mountains, unable to skip the second portrait face painting and some of the globes in Wonky Circus rotate in the opposite direction.
Overall, japanese loses about a minute (not sure if it might be more, it could be) compared to US. I still haven't decided personally if it warrants a split or not. I'll leave this thread here to linger for quite awhile due to the lack of runners but I welcome watchers to voice their opinions as well.
