Just picked up the DS version of this game today and want to try speedrunning it sometime. Just wondering if there's any board for the DS version or anywhere to submit a run for DS version.

I read the speedrun rules as best as I could to find any possible mention of the allowance/ban of the Switch version SMB2 for a run, but didn't see anything.

Am I allowed to use the switch version for a Any%? Or is that banned?

Alright, sounds good. Basically the same rules as in Ride Again, because both games have a flying platform that takes you back to the first level of a world.

If I record a run of it and lay down some basic rules, you said you can try to figure something out?

Just a thought I had. Both All Level categories in both games are exactly the same, so I think theres no reason why we shouldn't have one on the first game as well.

Phineas and Ferb Ride Again has a All Levels NG+ category, so I think the original game should have it too. The games are very similar, so the methods of start and stop (completing a run) would be exactly the same:

Run through the worlds as fast as you can, touch the flying platform, back to backyard, enter next world, repeat.

Timer stops when you touch world 4-4 platform.

I came across an old record of mine that i did indeed time but didn't record. is there any way i can submit it without video?

Or, if I run the game in general without video, is that acceptable?

Im asking if you need video proof because it doesn't say you need video proof on the rules. Mainly asking for my old record which is past 3 hours but im still wondering generally as well.
