Thank you all for submitting runs to Midwinter Speedsprinter! We got a lot more runs than we had anticipated at the start, and are currently working on releasing the schedule as soon as possible.
Runs submitted past today will be backup runs, which will be used in case a runner can't make it to the marathon.
Thank you all!

[center]https://i.imgur.com/SjMIwfb.png[/center] [section=Introduction] "Project: Fundrising 3" is an online speedrun marathon, starting at March 30, for people in need who are struggling financially, have lost their jobs, lost their home, don't have the money for a time-out in their lives.
We don't have a charity. We are the charity.
On PJFR 3 we're raising money for Maria Soria, who's son Jacob was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. He is undergoing extensive chemotherapy treatment, and as a single mother of 5, she is unable to financially support them all because of Jacob's expensive and time costly treatment.
100% of the money raised goes DIRECTLY to Maria Soria. [section=Rules]
- The charity event may contain swearing but will be kept to an acceptable range. Inappropriate content that jeopardizes the event are prohibited
- Have fun! We all want to have fun as much as possible
- You can to submit up to 3 times in total (length doesn't matter much)
- You must join the Discord Server in order to get accepted [section=Submissions] Submissions are closed!
This time we're handling submissions over SRC to prevent troll submissions and a better overview for submissions.
The submissions close on Sunday, March 11th 12am GMT !

Project Fundraising is a series of online marathons focusing on helping raise funds for a single individual. This marathon is going to raise funds for Jacob Soria, who is fighting leukemia. His gofundme page is here: https://www.gofundme.com/e44dtq-my-son-is-fighting-leukemia
Hey Gibe :D
Depends on if we can stream them and set them up. It sounds like a really cool idea! What game would you be running? Would you do it online or on site?
The poll results have come in! we're going to be pushing the marathon back one week. Thanks for understanding and good luck with practice everyone :)

Hey all,
I've been trying to stream my Wii in component on my PVM Trinitron, but when I do the screen gets split in half on 480p, but not for 480i. Has anyone else had this problem or know a fix for it?
It doesn't split the screen when I try it with an HDTV, and I've tried it with another PVM and the screen gets split on it, so maybe it's a problem with the PVMs? Also, I can get it working in 480p with a PS2 with component cables too, so maybe the Wii has something to do with it too?
I saw that nobody has done a co-op run for any% or 100% yet. What's the reason for that?
Hey all,
The Midwest Speedcrew is hosting our winter themed marathon, MidWinter SpeedSprinter on March 2nd-4th! We are accepting in-person and online runs, with the venue being one of our team member's home in Minnesota for the in-person runs. (In-person runners will be invited to a special channel with the address for the venue ) (it will be called Pup N Suds, it is still the right discord channel!)
We are raising funds for Maria Soria's Gofundme here: https://www.gofundme.com/e44dtq-my-son-is-fighting-leukemia Her son is a friend of JustCallMeWade, one of our runners, and she currently needs funds to cover medical costs for her son fighting leukemia. She also has 4 other children to care for, and as a single mother she won't be able to work to care for them because of how busy she is with Jacob's leukemia treatment.
Our tech man will be providing a professional level stream to ensure the best quality for you to watch! We will be using restream.io to stream at these sites:
Twitch: https://twitch.tv/midwestspeedfest Youtube Gaming: https://gaming.youtube.com/channel/UCxZU3lVJEAW5P-PI9ozlqOg/live Smashcast: https://www.smashcast.tv/midwestspeedfest Stream Me : https://www.stream.me/midwestspeedfest
Submissions will be open until Feb 17, and the schedule will be released Feb 22nd. Submissions for backup runs will be accepted until March 1st, so even if you missed the deadline there's a chance you can still participate!
If you are coming, make sure to use the Sign Up button so we can contact you by email if needed! If you are doing an online run, you have to join our discord! We will be using it to read donations and get in contact with you. :) Submit a run by using the submit run button the left and filling out the form it provides.
Feel free to join our discord here if you have more questions: https://discord.gg/DB7vTZH Follow our Twitter for more updates and additional questions: https://twitter.com/MWSpeedCrew
This thread will be updated with more info as time progresses. EDIT 1: Changed date of the marathon from Feb 23rd-25th to March 2nd-4th because of ESA scheduling conflicts. Also changed the submission deadline one week later too. EDIT 2: Added more info about the Discord channel EDIT 3: Updated info about the location change for in-person runs
