Both my little bro and I submitted new runs and were wondering when either run would be verified for the leader boards. Sorry for pushing just more overall curious
I ended up recording a run for the Stasis Interrupted campaign it's been a while, but I had to deal with life. I intended for my commentary to be informative and I'm going to continue working on the run to see if I can find any time saves. For timing I start the clock when I gain control of Lisbeth and I stop it once I interact with the keyboard at the end of the last mission.
So I found a minor glitch in the first mission. When you're in the first hangar and O'neal is opening the door, you can stand on a few boxes and the second wave of Xenos doesn't spawn. Here's a video about it. All it really does is help to keep the first mission a bit more consistent.
I've been messing around with the dlc more than the main campaign and was curious if we could eventually get a category for it.
The best luck I've had on it is lining up directly behind him locking on and mashing light attack. That's what works for me at least. If I'm to his sides he falls off, but directly behind is fine. I'm not sure if this helps in any way, but thought I could pitch in.
Okay, also i want to apologize for not uploading a video for the run yet I've been studying nonstop for finals. To answer your first question, I don't run the campaign without cheats due to me not being good at producing units, also then the only aspect for time loss in the cheated run is your own micro capability(due to the "whosyourdaddy" cheat making units invincible). The second questions answer would be just that you'd be allowed to skip any cutscenes between control of your character. Thank you for the consideration for this category for the game. :)
Also allow cutscene skips in the rules, just to speed it up a bit.
Hello Warcraft Speedrunners, I love this game and was just curious as to if you would like to add a cheat% for all of the campaigns. By cheat% I mean allowing only the whosyourdaddy cheat, i think it would make running a strategy game a lot more inviting and i'd start submitting runs of the undead campaign in both RoC and TFT also i'd have friends that would get into running this game if this percent started existing.
