Turbo Mode is unlocked after the initial completion of the game and Ragnarok is also unlocked after playing at the very minimum some of the game.

For players who don't know what Ragnarok is, it is a spell that you unlock after playing another game. The option to get it is after you create your character and once you do the offer, all of your future characters will have it too.

Seeing as most top runs and the fact that there are no game rules to prevent this, I would suggest a different sub category called ragnarokless%

I know the mods aren't really active and they need to be replaced but I do hope that this becomes a thing.

A better solution is to have each category be broken down into 2 subcategories. Example: Any% --> Regular | Ragnarok 100% --> Regular | Ragnarok 10 Bosses --> Regular | Ragnarok 30 Bosses --> Regular | Ragnarok

Prior to Flash ending, this didn't matter because everyone had the opportunity to unlock Ragnarok; however, now Ragnarok is unusable because the current methods for playing the game do not have it. Basically, the 10 bosses WR I set is 100% unbeatable because of that. The rest are beatable, but Ragnarok is so strong that it can save a bunch of time.

Additionally, "Regular" should be the default option because that is all that is playable going forward.

I've updated the leaderboard with subcategories for Ragnarok and Regular runs as Ragnarok is no longer easily obtainable (or obtainable at all) and have also checked and moved all runs to their respective category.

Edit: I've also changed timing to start from the "Ok" Button on the character creation screen instead of from the "New Game" button on the main menu.

Ok so I know I just joined here but I feel the need to mention that ragnarok runs ARE still possible. If any of you installed Flashpoint, just the screenshot of the game shows all the spells that the playing user can have, which includes fireball, poison, lightning and Ragnarok

Flashpoint saves your data in some folder once you play a flash game for the first time, which means that once you click "New Game" after already having beaten the game once or twice, you can get Ragnarok.

I will admit though, there is an alternate version of the game that is under "Additional Applications" which gives you cheats, but that version is impossible to play in fullscreen mode and the cheats are super obvious to spot and incredibly niche. You can turn on no health which after taking damage you go to 0 health and when you get hit again, instantly die. You can instantly level up which is easy to spot. You can give yourself extra statistics points which I feel would be easy to spot anyway, as well as extra skills and talents points. Other than that, completely normal

So yeah, there is a way to still use ragnarok in modern day, and it's not particularly hard
