Yeah, right now it's available with the purchase of the humble monthly bundle by using the trove. https://www.humblebundle.com/monthly/trove The subscription costs $12USD and that will allow you to access the game among other things. I presume eventually it will come to steam but for now, this is the only way to get it.

no, you can still get it. Though if that's all you are interested in I would recommend waiting until December. They are changing the payment tiers and getting access to the trove, where you can get shady knight, will be much cheaper.
